"Offshore Olympia", is an accommodation work barge for all types of deepwater offshore construction and accommodation projects.

The vessel�s design, sea keeping characteristics and all aspects of the vessel�s engineering, construction, testing and commissioning is surveyed and carried out under the provisions of American Bureau of Shiping (ABS).

The vessel has been designed and constructed to provide following offshore services:

Main Generator System

Vessel is fitted out with 3 Caterpillar D 3512 DJ-TA diesel generators of 800 kW each, with electronic fuel injection system. Total generator capacity 2400 kW.

All main generators have automatic start up, synchronising and load sharing capability.

In addition an emergency generator, Caterpillar D 3306 DJ-TA Diesel is fitted in a separate compartment with an output of 150 kW.

MOORING SYSTEM

Vessel is fitted with an eight point mooring system. Each winch is rated at 90 ton. Each drum is fitted with 1500 m of 40 mm wire, connected to a 15.000 lbs anchor. A central control panel including CCTV, load monitoring meters and length counters are fitted in the control room.

3. SAFETY SYSTEMS & EQUIPMENT
Fire Detection and Alarm System

The vessel has an extensive fire detection system with heat and smoke detectors fitted, which covers virtually every compartment on board, arranged in accordance with regulations. Alarm panels are in engine control with repeater panel adjacent to the Reception.

Additionally a CO² flooding system has been installed protecting the engine spaces and some of the storerooms. A normal sea water fire fighting system is also in place.
